Tunnel wireless monitoring solution
Video surveillance offers a clear and convenient visual experience for construction companies and institutions. It is widely applied in various scenarios, such as warehouse monitoring, critical traffic lane surveillance, and the monitoring of important locations like forests, water conservancy projects, oil fields, tunnels, coal mines, and border areas. With this system, you can sit in your office and view real-time footage from all key locations. You can also manage incidents remotely without leaving your desk, monitor the entire process of incident resolution, and review the final results on-site.
**Introduction to Wireless Video Surveillance Technology**
Wireless video surveillance technology uses digital signals instead of traditional analog methods. It enables signal exchange through microwave transmission, control, storage, and on-demand video playback. By establishing a powerful central service platform, it allows for unified management and centralized control of all codecs and video storage devices within the system. For users, only a login to the central service platform is needed to access and utilize the entire network’s monitoring resources.
**On-Site Analysis from the Customer**
A tunnel required a five-point monitoring system using high-definition network cameras. The signal from these five points needs to be transmitted to the control center located 10 kilometers away from the mining area. The monitoring center must be able to easily switch between the different camera feeds. However, the monitoring points cannot be directly visualized, so a signal transfer is necessary. The data is then fed into an NVR for storage.
**Wireless Monitoring Solutions**
A remote connector with three HD dome cameras uses wireless transmission devices (ST58T8G) to send the signal to a relay point. At the relay, a receiving device (ST58T8G-N) captures the signal and sends it to a switch. Each monitoring point connects to the switch via another ST58T8G device. A second high-definition camera is also connected using the same wireless transmitter. Finally, the monitoring center receives the signal through a ST58T8G receiver and connects it to the NVR for recording and playback.
**Conclusion**
Technological development never stops. Market demand drives the evolution of products and technologies. As the mobile wireless video surveillance market gradually expands to individual users, wireless surveillance systems will become increasingly advanced and refined.
