Smart City Standard System Released

At the 13th China (Tianjin) Information Technology Expo held on November 17th, the “Smart City of China Standard System” drafted by the experts of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Intelligent Buildings and Residential Districts was officially released. The definition of the city, its system, functional features, and key construction plans were elaborated in detail, providing a basis for the construction of smart cities in China.

“The standard system framework includes five categories of standards for infrastructure, construction and livability, management and services, industry and economy, security and operation and maintenance of smart city construction. It is divided into 4 levels and covers 16 technical fields, including 101 The branch’s professional standards generally involve 3,255 national, industry, and local standards.” Ma Xing, member of the National Standardization Committee and editor of the “Smart City Standards System”, said that this is the latest and most authoritative standard for smart cities at the national level. Sexual documents are also the direction and road that guide the construction of a nation’s smart city.

In Ma Xing’s view, building a smart city requires first of all a good foundation. As an industrial city, the wisdom of Tianjin will greatly promote the future economic development of Tianjin, and through some standards to land in Tianjin, will be formed in line with Tianjin's own model to further promote the construction of smart Tianjin.
