Comparison between ultrafine glass wool and centrifugal glass wool

The ultra-fine glass wool insulation material is mainly composed of quartz sand, feldspar, sodium silicate, boric acid and the like. After being melted at a high temperature, a fiber cotton of less than 2 um is obtained, and a thermosetting resin adhesive is added to pressurize the high temperature to form a plate, a felt, a pipe product of various shapes and specifications. The surface can also be coated with aluminum foil or PVC film. The product has light bulk density, small thermal conductivity, large absorption coefficient and good flame retardant performance. Can be widely used in thermal equipment, air conditioning thermostat, hot and cold pipes, oven drying room, refrigeration and preservation, and building insulation, heat insulation, sound insulation and so on.

Centrifugal glass wool:

Centrifugal glass wool is a filament-like material made of a fiber-sprayed thermosetting resin by a centrifugal blowing process of a glass in a molten state, and subjected to heat curing deep processing to produce a series of products having various uses. It has many advantages such as flame retardant, non-toxic, corrosion-resistant, small bulk density, low thermal conductivity, strong chemical stability, low moisture absorption rate and good water repellency. It is currently recognized as the most superior thermal insulation, heat insulation and sound absorbing material. Has a very wide range of uses. The plates, felts and tubes made of this material have been widely used in the fields of construction, chemical, electronics, electric power, metallurgy, energy, transportation and other fields for thermal insulation, sound absorption and noise reduction, and the effect is very remarkable.

Because the centrifugal glass wool is soft in texture and fine in fiber, it will not irritate the skin during construction, so it is welcomed by the construction unit and becomes the first choice for thermal insulation.
