Remedy for wheat deficiency

When wheat plants show signs of iron deficiency during the early growth stage or when an iron deficiency is detected, apply a foliar spray of 0.2% to 0.3% ferrous sulfate solution. This helps quickly restore the plant's nutrient balance and promotes healthy development. For boron deficiency, use borax as a base fertilizer at a rate of 1 kg per acre, incorporated into the soil before sowing. As a seed treatment, mix 10 grams of borax in 5 kg of water and evenly coat 50 kg of wheat seeds. For top dressing, spray a 0.1% to 0.2% borax solution during the seedling, jointing, and booting stages of wheat growth. This ensures adequate boron supply for optimal grain formation. To address manganese deficiency, apply 1 kg of manganese sulfate per acre as a base fertilizer during soil preparation. For seed treatment, mix 4–6 grams of manganese sulfate per kilogram of wheat seeds before planting. During the growing season, especially in the seedling, jointing, and flowering stages, apply a foliar spray of 0.1% to 0.2% manganese sulfate solution if deficiency symptoms are observed. For copper deficiency, add 1 to 1.5 kg of copper sulfate per acre as a base fertilizer during soil preparation. When planting, mix 0.2% to 0.3% copper sulfate with the seeds and let them rest for 12 to 17 hours to enhance absorption. If copper deficiency is noticed during the growing season, spray a 0.2% to 0.4% copper sulfate solution directly onto the leaves for quick correction. In case of zinc deficiency, apply 1 to 2 kg of zinc sulfate per acre as a base fertilizer during soil preparation. Soak selected wheat seeds in a 0.05% zinc sulfate solution for 12 to 24 hours, then dry them before sowing. For top dressing, apply 1 kg of zinc sulfate mixed with 15 to 20 kg of fine soil or organic fertilizer between the rows, ideally during the seedling stage for best results. Additionally, foliar application of 0.1% to 0.2% zinc sulfate solution during the seedling, jointing, and heading stages can further support plant health. By following these targeted fertilization methods, farmers can effectively manage micronutrient deficiencies and improve wheat yield and quality. Regular monitoring of plant health and timely application of the appropriate solutions are key to successful crop management.
