Fireproof shutter fire door fire window construction and acceptance specifications submitted

According to the “ Notice of the Establishment and Revision of the National Project Standard for Construction in 2002 ” (Jianbiao [2002] No. 85) and the “Reconsideration of the Agreed Adjustment of the Content and Name of the Fire Protection Regulations” of the former Ministry of Construction (Building Standard Letter [2007] No. 58), the Fire Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security organized a review meeting for the national standard “Code for the construction and acceptance of fire shutters, fire doors, and fire windows” (draft for review) on January 14, 2009 in Beijing. A total of 22 expert representatives from government departments, scientific research, fire-fighting companies, and public security fire departments attended the meeting. The leaders of the Ministry of Construction's Department of Standardization and the Standards and Standards Department of the Fire Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting established a committee of normative review experts and heard the normative work report prepared by the team. Delegates took a careful review of the normative provisions, and at the same time affirmed the normative review draft, they put forward useful opinions and suggestions.

The delegates agreed that the preparation team complied with the relevant national laws, regulations and technical standards in the preparation of the specification, and carefully summarized the practical experience accumulated in the acceptance inspection of fire shutters, fire doors, and fire windows in recent years, and fully considered The performance characteristics of various types of products have targeted specific measures to improve the acceptance of fire shutters, fire doors, and fire windows. The content of the specification is adapted to the actual needs of construction acceptance of fire shutters, fire doors, and fire windows, and is coordinated with existing national standards. It is advanced, scientific, economically reasonable, and maneuverable. After the specification is formulated and issued, it has an important role in improving the acceptance of fire shutters, fire doors, fire windows, and the daily maintenance and management level, and ensuring the fire safety of construction projects. The meeting hopes that the preparation team will carefully study the opinions and suggestions put forward by the participants and further modify and improve the specifications.
